Pointribution

This section answers the following questions:

What does pointribution mean?

How does pointribution impact me?

How much do I have to pointribute each month?

Why is pointribution so important?

Will the company request additional funding by pointribution?

What it means:

Pointribution is a term used to describe the process whereby Trunited users contribute to the platform.  The term comes from “point” and “contribution” to mean the points contribution that a user makes to the platform in a given month.  Instead of charging a monthly or annual cash fee like other money-making platforms, Trunited allows its users to contribute earned points to the platform.  The number of points contributed is based on a progressive scale of points per depth level earned.  This enables everyone to become a user of the platform and, if they don’t participate and earn in a given month, there is no cost to them.  If they participate and earn, they only contribute an equal share equivalent to the success the platform provides.

See the Pointribution Scale.

More Background and Detail:

As a free to join platform that focuses on delivering loyalty to its affiliated brands by rewarding users for shopping on its website, Trunited is saying goodbye to the days where creating real traffic for companies takes a backseat to high pressure recruitment for pay.  In Trunited, a user pays nothing out of their pocket to use the platform or earn from it.  And while recruiting shoppers is fundamental to growing the Trunited network, only when a user shops on the platform does a user earn.  When a user earns, they contribute back to the platform.

The number of points a user contributes back to Trunited is based on the level of success they have in a given month.  For a user who is a shopper only, the cost is 1 point and increases with each level of depth credit earned once the user qualifies to be paid as a Trunited marketer.

The points are deducted from a user’s personal point total at the end of the month.  The reduction in personal points for pointribution occurs after the month ends and is closed.  It will not impact a user’s qualification of 30 points earned to participate in the Marketer Match or the 100 points to earn the Best Practices Milestone.  A user who ends the month with 30 or 100 points will remain qualified even though their total post-pointribution points may fall below the total needed to qualify.

While pointribution will not impact qualification of 30 match or 100 point best practices bonus, it will affect the earned match points if the user ends up with fewer points than another user it matches on in the month end Match Up.  If the user ends up with 96 points and another has 120 points in its network, the match points earned will be based on the 96 personal points and so 96 match points is the total earned from that Match Up relationship.  Users are encouraged to earn enough points to contribute points through pointribution and still match on all points available to them.

Pointribution allows the cost of doing business and growth to be spread out among all benefiting platform users.  Trunited’s success helps expand the users’ reach in their networking efforts which results in a larger community with increased operational needs.  The community expands, operational needs increase, revenues grow, pointribution increases and it repeats.  It is a collaborative and symbiotic system of growth where everyone who benefits from the platform can contribute in the success of the entire system.

In the event extra funding is needed for a specific operational or growth need, a special Pointribution request may be made by the company.  If such an event were to occur, the points contributed by users would be completely voluntary.

“Trunited doesn’t cost anything to join.  You simply pledge 1 point as a customer to the cause and for each level of success you have, you contribute more.  And, you only pay something if you earn!”

The Pointribution Scale:

The Beauty of Pointribution:

_________________________________________________________________________

Example A:

A Trunited user earns 100 profit points in a month.  Those 100 profit points were earned by their own shopping and 2 guest shoppers who made purchases for which the user earned profit points.  In addition, because they have personally referred 3 people who have earned 50 points each, they have qualified for the marketer match and earn 1 level of Depth Credit.  To maintain compliant to pointribution and rules with the platform and brands, all shoppers must be accounted for and contribute to pointribution, even guest shoppers.  So, the total number of points this user contributes back in pointribution this month is:

2 Guest Shoppers:  INCLUDED

Depth Credit Earned:  1 Level

The total number of points to contribute this month:  3 personal profit points

At a $0.20 point value for the month, the monetary value of these 3 points = US $0.60

These 3 points will be deducted from the personal points at the end of the month and added to the company pointribution pool.  So, after the company registers the month closed, performs the skip compression process and determines the monthly point value, the 100 personal points turns into 96 personal points.  The month end process will now calculate all match points earned based on the 96 personal points.  As stated above, while pointribution will not impact qualification of 30 match or 100 point best practices bonus, it will affect the match points if the user ends up with fewer points than another user it matches on.  If the user ends up with 97 points and another has 120 points in their network, the match points earned will be based on the 97 personal points and so 97 match points is the total earned from that match relationship.  Users are encouraged to earn enough points to contribute points through pointribution and still match on all points available to them.

Example B:

A Trunited user earns 250 profit points in a month.  As in the above example, they have guest shoppers who have made purchases that earn profit points for this Trunited user.  The total number of guest shoppers is 10.  In addition, because they have qualified for the marketer match and earn 6 levels of Depth Credit, the total number of earned match points is 12,000 from 120 shoppers in the network. So, the total number of points this user contributes back in Pointribution this month is:

10 Guest Shoppers:  INCLUDED

Depth Credit Earned:  6 Levels

The total number of points to contribute this month:  30 Personal Profit Points

At a $0.20 point value for the month, the monetary value of these 30 points = US $6.00

These 30 points will be deducted from the personal points at the end of the month and added to the company pointribution pool.  So, the 250 personal points turns in to 220 personal points.  The month end process will now calculate all match points earned based on the 220 personal points.  Again, while pointribution will not impact qualification of 30 match or 100 point best practices bonus, it will affect the match points if the user ends up with fewer points than another user it matches on.  If the user ends up with 220 points and another has 250 points in its network, the match points earned will be based on the 220 personal points and so 220 match points is the total earned from that match relationship.  Users are encouraged to earn enough points to contribute points through pointribution and still match on all points available to them.

Example C:

A Trunited user earns 30 profit points in a month.  Those 30 profit points were earned by their own shopping and 2 guest shoppers who made purchases for which the user earned profit points. In addition, because they have qualified for the marketer match and earn 6 levels of Depth Credit, the total number of earned match points is 7,300 from 120 shoppers in the network.

To maintain compliant to pointribution and rules with the platform and brands, all shoppers must be accounted for and contribute to pointribution.  However, because the user would have fewer than 1 personal point after pointribution (30 points for level 6), the system must reduce them to a level of depth credit that will leave them with more than 1 point.  With 30 personal points earned, the user is reduced to 5 levels of depth credit and pays 20 points in pointribution which leaves 10 personal points for the match up.  This impacts the number of match points the user earns from 7,300 before to 5,600 match profit points at 5 levels of depth credit.  So, the total number of points this user contributes back in pointribution this month is:

2 Guest Shoppers:  INCLUDED

Depth Credit Earned:  5 Levels

The total number of points to contribute this month:  20 Personal Profit Points

At a $0.20 point value for the month, the monetary value of these 20 points = US $4.00

These 20 points will be deducted from the personal points at the end of the month and added to the company pointribution pool.  So, after the company registers the month closed, performs the skip compression process and determines the monthly point value, the 30 personal points turns in to 10 personal points, the match profit points are finalized and payouts are made.

Users are encouraged to earn enough points to contribute points through pointribution and still match on all points available to them.
